Gold Coast Junior Sports Star of the Year: Flynn Southam. 

Season Highlight: Southam wins Gold at World Championships in Fukuoka.

2024 the year ahead

Big ins: Hannah Casey, young up and coming freestyle sprinter.

Swimmer to watch: Milla Jansen, young freestyle sprinter. Just broke 25 seconds for the first time in the 50m free. 

Don’t miss: Olympic Trials in Brisbane in June. Flynn Southam in the 100 and 200m freestyle and Ben Armbruster and Jesse Coleman in the 100m butterfly.

Big improvers: Jesse Coleman and Ben Armbruster have both improved significantly in the 100m butterfly event.

What’s new: We have four World Aquatics swimmers training with our squads until the end of the year. They will be competing for spots on the prospective national teams for Olympic Games qualification.

Headline I’d like to see: Bull Sharks bring home gold from Paris.

Predictions: Australian Swim Team to return with their best ever Olympic swimming medal tally.
