Injury blow as Bull Sharks lose Wallaroos pair for Grand Final

Eva Karpani has been ruled out with injury 

The Bull Sharks have been dealt a blow with the loss of Wallaroos Madi Schuck and Eva Karpani for Sunday’s Queensland Premier Rugby Grand Final against Easts at Balllymore Stadium.

The girls from Bond University will be aiming for a history making premiership three-peat while our Third Grade will be playing for their first cup in their Grand Final against Brothers.  

Premier Women 

Bond v Easts at Ballymore. 

Last time they met:

Round 16, 2024 at Easts Rugby Union Club. 

Bull Sharks won 24-19.

The opposition:

Easts are a very physical team with plenty of representative players and a lot of experience, especially in their forward pack. They are tough up front.  

Shuffling the magnets:

The loss of Wallaroos front rowers Eva Karpani and Madi Schuck has been a big blow. We welcome back USA Eagles front rower Charli Jacoby. The rest of the squad remains relatively unchanged.

Ones to watch:

Jemma Bemrose and the back three combination of Eva Doblo, Dianne Waight and Amahli Hala will be key players for us this weekend.

The final word:

It's going to be a tough battle in the heat, but we look forward to the challenge and will hopefully come away with the Grand Final win that we have worked all year for.
