Bull Sharks to face the unknown

Ruby squad

The Bull Sharks will face off against competition newcomers Redlands Coast in Round 2 of the Premier Netball League’s Ruby Series this week.

However, the Eagles aren’t a complete unknown with a couple of former Bull Sharks in their ranks.

The opposition

The Redlands Coast Eagles are a new addition to the competition. We played at the same time as them last week so we haven’t had a chance to see them play.

 The challenge

Facing a team we haven’t seen play—and with little information on their athletes—adds a unique challenge. Our focus will remain firmly on executing our game plan and controlling what we can: our own performance.

 Shuffling the magnets

We have a number of players competing in the Queensland Representative School Sport Netball Competition this week, so we’ll be closely managing player load for Sunday’s match.

 Ones to watch

This season, we’re proud of the depth in our team. All eleven athletes are capable of making an impact, every one of them is a player to watch.

The focus

Maintaining our composure and valuing the possession of the ball for a full four quarters

The final word

With 17 rounds still to come, we’re excited about the challenges ahead. It will be great to watch this group grow, adapt, and develop across the season.
