This week we shine the spotlight on Bond Water polo Club!

What is the Bond Water polo Club?  

We’re a welcoming and enthusiastic club for anyone with an interest in water polo. Whether you're an ex-swimmer or just keen to play socially, we cater to all skill levels. It's a great way to stay active, meet new people, and be part of a team. Plus, this semester we have welcomed coach Laurel, who brings some serious skills to the squad.

Greatest achievement as a club? 

 Winning Club Spirt award in 2024 after our unforgettable performance at UniSport Nationals in Canberra.  

Why join Bond Water polo Club? 

 We are currently recruiting for UniSport 2025 which is right here in the Gold Coast. Training includes a mix of fitness, drills, shootouts, and game simulations, with plenty of time to socialise and meet your team. It is the perfect way to stay fit have fun and find a great group of people.  

One word to describe Bond Water polo Club? 

Entertaining. 

Which member of your club brings the culture?  

Cosi is the OG.  

What fun traditions/rituals/superstitions do you do? 

Plenty... especially at UniSport games. But you will have join to be let in on those secrets.  

Who’s your fiercest rival? 

Griffith, we play rival games once a semester, the pressure is on.
