The Master of Valuation and Property Development ensures graduates can demonstrate an integrated understanding of the complex body of property knowledge and skills in this field.
Intensive mode delivery
The Master of Valuation and Property Development is professionally recognised by some of Australia’s leading professional bodies. This allows graduates to differentiate themselves within the industry.
Further, the program is also delivered in intensive mode. Intensive mode delivery is a compact and time efficient way to complete a postgraduate qualification with minimal impact on professional and personal lifestyles. Subjects are generally delivered over two weekends during the semester with two sets of three-day sessions per subject, usually scheduled as Thursday to Saturday (approximately six to eight contact hours per day) with a break of four or five weeks between session one and session two of each subject.
Participants will receive 40 hours of combined lectures, discussion groups, case studies and workshops during contact hours. International students are required to be on campus every week.

In 2020 we are offering a number of partial tuition fee 30th Anniversary Postgraduate Scholarships to high achieving domestic students applying to commence postgraduate studies at Bond University in either the May or September semester.

This program is designed to equip graduates with strong knowledge and advanced technical skills applicable to a variety of career paths such as investment, finance, asset management and research. The curriculum addresses a range of topics including finance and taxation, corporate portfolio management, risk identification and management, feasibility analysis, law, property valuation and market analysis. The real estate industry represents the world’s greatest store of capital, a cornerstone of investment wealth and a driver of economic growth and employment. The global property industry is affected by many challenges including fluctuating economic conditions, innovations in finance, new regulations and approaches to sustainability. Skilled professionals are required in all areas of real estate development, property valuation, investment and management.
This degree will provide you with the high level skills required to establish leadership within the property industry, and can be applied across global real estate markets. Graduates of this program will be able to offer expert, specialised cognitive and technical skills to complex property markets. Opportunities include property research and analysis, valuation, strategy, portfolio management, finance, investment, development, project management and general management. Graduates will be equipped with a comprehensive knowledge of sustainable development, and will be able to seek work anywhere in Australia or around the world.
Students graduating with this degree are internationally recognised by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Students with a cognate undergraduate degree will qualify for registration with the Australian Property Institute as a Certified Practising Valuer with the Valuers Registration Board of Queensland, and New South Wales Fair Trading (conditional on meeting professional practice requirements).
Students with a cognate undergraduate degree who complete the relevant Property Valuation subjects as electives will qualify for registration with the Australian Property Institute as a Certified Practising Valuer with the Valuers Registration Board of Queensland.
The structure of the Master of Valuation and Property Development (Professional) is based on theoretical and practical subjects. This program is designed in close consultation with prominent industry professional boards to ensure the integrity and contemporary relevance of the degree.

Option Subjects (choose 2)
The below fees are based on an average per semester cost, fees may vary based on which subjects are selected and the number of subjects enrolled in for each semester:
- 2020 fees: $15,210 per semester (based on 3 subjects per semester)
- 2021 fees: $15,750 per semester (based on 3 subjects per semester)
Price may vary depending on elective discipline choice.
To support students during the economic crisis created by the current pandemic, financial aid will be provided to students in Semester 2 in 2020. This is in the form of a one-off tuition fee relief, which will be a 20% reduction in Semester 2 tuition fees. For more information, see the Frequently Asked Questions.
When considering the fees associated with your studies, keep in mind that Bond’s accelerated schedule means you can finish your degree sooner and be out in the workforce up to a year earlier than if you went to another university.
This time saving also represents a substantial reduction in accommodation and living costs, plus a full year of extra earnings.

Credit for prior study
Subject credits may be awarded for previous studies. To apply for credits, you will need to submit academic transcripts including detailed subject outlines/course descriptions for each relevant subject and/or certified copies of testamurs to the Office of Future Students.
