Where will your degree take you?

A Master of Business Administration degree is a prestigious qualification that equips professionals with the skills and knowledge to take their career to the next level in an array of industries. In combination with the Master of Accounting, you will receive the tools required to understand the drivers of success and can greatly enhance the accounting decisions made by upper management through the skilful generation and interpretation of information.

Financial accountant

A financial accountant is responsible for running the accounting and financial activities of an organisation. They analyse the economic stability of the company and provide financial information to other departments, enabling these departments to make budgeting and investment decisions. A financial accountant reports on costs, productivity, margins, and company expenditures.

Wealth manager

Wealth managers use their accounting and financial expertise to help clients grow their wealth. Serving as trusted consultants to high-net-worth individuals or families, they create strategic plans based on their clients’ objectives and financial profile, encompassing investments, insurance, mutual funds, trust and estate taxes, and retirement. Many wealth managers work in investment firms and banks, but it’s common for them to be self-employed.

Business analyst

The projected job growth over the next five years for business analysts is 29.6 per cent making the profession in high demand across various industries. Business analysts help businesses improve their systems and processes through data analysis.

Financial advisor

Financial advisors are highly sought-after professionals in organisations as they provide guidance in meeting financial goals. Many financial planners decide to specialise and focus their practice in particular areas, such as superannuation, tax planning or debt management.
