Academic Skills Centre offers a range of free workshops. These will be multimodal (in person and online via the iLearn community) in semester 213 and will also be recorded. Recordings, workshop materials, and other resources are available via the ASC iLearn community.

Our workshop schedule typically runs from Orientation Week through to Week 3 of our semesterly schedule.  

If you can't attend, please make an appointment with Academic Skills Centre and we will go through the session with you personally one on one.

This is a general introduction to what is expected from academic writing at university. It focuses on organising your paper, approaching the question and style.

This online session will discuss the top tips for remote learning success. It is based on feedback from the experts - successful students who have studied remotely.

Study Strategies

Effective study tips to maximise your study potential. This workshop looks at time management, studying effectively & ways to learn actively.

Quoting, Paraphrasing & Academic Integrity

This workshop looks at ways of avoiding plagiarism by quoting and paraphrasing correctly.

APA Referencing

APA  referencing style is used in all Bond faculties except for Law. This workshop looks at how to reference in text as well as write reference lists using APA 7th edition.
