Recent Bond alumna wins QLD Project Team Member of the Year

Bond graduate Georgina Pye has been awarded the 2013 Queensland Project Team Member of the Year by the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM).

Georgina was recognised for her work as Assistant Project Manager at Point Project Management where she assists the project management team in the management and delivery of complex projects from inception through to completion within the construction and broader property industry.

“Through contacts and recommendations from Bond University, I was able to secure a casual position with Point Project Management in the second year of my studies and was able to work part-time without compromising on my ability to attend lectures and tutorials,“ said Georgina.  “On completion of my degree in 2012, this evolved into a full-time role as Assistant Project Manager.”

She is delighted to receive the award as part of the Project Management Achievement Awards established by The Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) to recognise, honour and promote outstanding achievements in program and project management.
