Physiotherapy announces new Industry Advisory Board

Bond University Program Head of Physiotherapy, Dr Wayne Hing has announced the make-up of the new Industry Advisory Board for the Doctor of Physiotherapy program.

The formation of the new Board took place at the Bond Institute of Health & Sport this month, with the purpose being to ensure the continual improvement and quality of the program including research, professional practice and community service.

“We are grateful that senior representatives from academia, research, industry bodies, government and private practice have offered their time to Bond University to ensure our students receive the best student learning outcomes for the industry,” said Professor Hing.

“Our members represent an experienced cross-section of physiotherapy with specialist interests including musculo-skeletal, orthopaedic, surgical, aged care, paediatrics, cardio-respiratory, spinal and disability through to sports and tactical strength and conditioning.”

The Board will communicate regularly regarding skills and attributes sought by employers, as well as develop new initiatives for the program.
