Bond University's live music series set to provide a perfect Sunday afternoon's entertainment

Bond University’s free music series is back for another round with local favourites, The Lamplights, set to perform at the ADCO Amphitheatre on Sunday, August 28.

The Lamplights' lead vocalist Ryan Gittoes is emerging as one of Queensland's great front men. Jason McGregor, well known guitarist and current Australian Fingerstyle Guitar Champion, and sublime slide guitarist Ashley Perrow provide the foundation for band's sound. Add to this the percussive groove of Mike Easterman and Mattie Barker on bass and you've got The Lamplights' irresistible fusion of folk, funk, jazz and blues.

With a long list of festival appearances, a busy performance schedule and airplay in 11 European countries, The Lamplights are a must-see live act!

Bond’s free music series will be an ongoing event, held once a month as part of the university’s commitment to the arts and greater community.

It takes place on the last Sunday of the month at 3pm and continues until the early evening, providing the perfect way to end your weekend and start your week.

Wine, beer, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be available for purchase at each event, for those who enjoy a quiet beverage and some food with their music.
