Bond students most satisfied in Australia, according to Federal Government survey

Bond University students are the most satisfied higher education students in Australia, according to the 2015 Student Experience Survey results recently released by the Federal Government Department of Education and Training.

Students from Bond University rated their overall educational experience higher than students from any other higher education institution in the country.

Bond also received the highest ratings in Australia for teaching quality, learner engagement and learning resources, and the second highest for student support and skills development.

The Student Experience Survey (SES), which is the only comprehensive survey of current higher education students in Australia, also showed Bond to have the best career development and support services in the country.

Bond University’s Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Tim Brailsford said the results reinforced Bond’s academic model and reputation as Australia’s leading independent university.

“We understand the importance of not only delivering a quality education, but also ensuring our students receive a world-class educational experience and are ready to hit the ground running as soon as they graduate,” Professor Brailsford said.

“Bond’s key points of difference have always been its smaller class sizes, personalised approach and accelerated degree program.”

“Bond’s approach to higher education goes beyond academic knowledge to encompass the key personal, employability and leaderships skills that recruiters are looking for.

“From day one, our on-campus Career Development Centre team works with each and every student to help refine their career goals and map out a career pathway.

“Our unique Beyond Bond program, which is part of every undergraduate program at Bond teaches core employability and life skills and provides students with internship opportunities, global volunteering programs, international competitions, industry conferences, study tours, community service and much more.

“In line with these latest student experience survey results, our focus at Bond will remain firmly on our students, the quality of their learning, overall experience and graduate outcomes.”
