Bond links with teachers

The School of Information Technology hosted its first IT Teachers Forum on Tuesday, February 22. Approximately 30 teachers, career advisors and industry representatives gathered at the University Club for a three course meal and the opportunity to network with colleagues and academics from the School of Information Technology.

The evening included a presentation from Bond University alumnus Ms Candice Ong, who provided a graduate perspective of how her studies at Bond University assisted in gaining her current position with IT global player IBM.

In addition Head of School Professor Iain Morrison provided a brief overview on recent industry trends and School of Information Technology updates including recent developments, accomplishments and key events for 2011.

The School of Information Technology is committed to developing relationships with schools to ensure they are kept up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in the industry and how Bond is ensuring its programs remain relevant for the ever-changing market.
