Bond Bullsharks head to the Northern University Games

Good Luck to all Bond competitors who are heading to Brisbane on Sunday to compete in the Northern University Games (NUGs).

The NUGs will see approximately 1000 student athletes from 10 University’s across QLD and Northern NSW compete in 15 sports.

The event officially kicks off on Sunday night with the Opening Ceremony at Cloudland.  Competition starts on Monday July 8 with finals on Thursday.

Bond is sending 136 competitors and will be represented by 15 teams across 12 sports. Teams have been training hard in the lead up to this event and we have some strong medal chances in Touch, Netball, Basketball and Tennis.  Bond has a proud history at NUGs and was the overall champion University in 2011.

We wish all competitors the best of luck!
