Bond Rugby launches 2018 Season with new Gold Sponsor, Technology One

Bond University Rugby Club recently celebrated its season launch, with the unveiling of its team line-up and the announcement of a major new sponsor, in the lead-up to the 2018 Queensland Premier Rugby Competition.

More than 100 supporters, including sponsors, players, families and social members attended the evening launch event at the Bond University Rugby Field on 7 March as our teams geared-up for the new season.

Bond University Rugby Club revealed its newest Gold Sponsor, Technology One, who has had a long association with the University, as its software supplier for almost 20 years.

TechnologyOne joined Bruce Lynton Jaguar, Gold Coast Spine and Local Search as the premier sponsors of the Bond University Rugby Club.

Bond University Director of Rugby, Strategy and Planning, Luca Liussi, said the season launch was an opportunity to shine a spotlight on this year's talent.

"As the only Gold Coast club to compete in the Queensland Premier Rugby Competition, it is an incredible achievement for each and every athlete who has been selected to play this season," he said.

"This year, our focus is on the continued development of our players and our team, as well as unearthing some new talent to take the squad to the next level.

"I expect a strong season from both the Colts and Senior teams."

Bond University Executive Director of Sport, Garry Nucifora, said the TechnologyOne Sponsorship was the result of a long-standing, university IT relationship with the business.

"We are extremely grateful that TechnologyOne has come on board, with this new partnership to have significant benefits for our athletes," he said.

"I look forward to taking the relationship with TechnologyOne to the next level and thank them for their continued support."
