$1 Million Research Grant - CEWCES

Bond University has received a $1 million donation to the Centre for East-West Cultural and Economic Studies in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

This generous donation will enable Bond University to become a centre of excellence in East-West studies through increasing our academic research by pursuing co-operative strategic research and building the presence, impact and output of research in the fields of economic, political, foreign policy, international relations and security-related issues in the region. It will also pursue a separate cluster on philosophical issues.

This excellent outcome reflects the outstanding collaborative effort by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Professor Raoul Mortley and Scott Bulger, Pro Vice Chancellor (Development and External Relations) to secure funding for the Centre for East-West Cultural and Economic Studies.
