Bond journalism academic shortlisted for prestigious Walkley Awards

Bond University academic Caroline Graham is a finalist in the 2018 Walkley Awards which recognise Australia’s best journalism. Graham, a senior teaching fellow in Strategic and Cultural Communication in the Faculty of Society and Design, was recognised for her Lost in Larrimah podcast series produced for The Australian earlier this year.

Commonwealth Games gold medallist Alex Graham ready to graduate to the Olympics

Alex Graham has had his best ever year in the pool after claiming Commonwealth Games gold as part of the men’s 4x200m freestyle where he led off a team including Kyle Chalmers, Mack Horton and fellow Bond University student Elijah Winnington. The 23-year-old graduated from his sport management degree at Bond University last weekend, the end of a four-year journey as part of the Georgina Hope Rinehart Swimming Excellence Scholarship, and has his sights set firmly on the future – and the Olympics.
