Bree masters the surf but still chasing National Title

Bond elite student athlete Bree Masters had a point to prove heading into the Ocean 6 surf life saving series at Surfers Paradise at the weekend. The former World Beach Sprint Champion is in sparkling form this season and claimed a fifth straight sprint race at the Ocean 6 series. She is also within striking distance of the overall flags title to complete the rare double.

Bondies crusade to save coral reefs rewarded with funding

The efforts of two Bond University students to save the world’s coral reefs have been rewarded with a $12,700 grant from a Middle Eastern conservation fund, and a study exchange backed by the world's largest non-profit marine-conservation organisation and a multi-national food conglomerate.

Influential doctors aren’t disclosing their drug company ties

An Australian study of the doctors who write influential clinical guidelines has uncovered at least one in five of them have had a financial relationship with a drug company that was not disclosed in the guidelines, according to Dr Ray Moynihan of Bond University.
