The role sits within a shared Faculty Executive Office, working in partnership with the Executive Assistant to the Executive Dean to support Faculty initiatives and respond to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will be a key point of contact for enquiries, meetings, communications, events and follow-up actions, ensuring matters are handled with professionalism, discretion and pace.

You may be preparing briefing material, coordinating executive diaries, triaging sensitive matters, supporting strategic visits, organising Faculty events, tracking actions from meetings, improving administrative systems or helping bring together the right people and information so decisions can be made well.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being the person others rely on, calm under pressure, thoughtful in approach, confident with senior stakeholders and motivated by making a busy executive environment work smoothly.

About the person

You are the kind of person who brings order, judgment and momentum to a busy executive environment. You enjoy being close to the action, understand the importance of discretion, and know how to make senior leaders' working lives easier without needing everything spelled out.

  • You communicate with polish and warmth, whether you are dealing with senior colleagues, visitors, partners or people needing guidance.
  • You stay calm when things shift, using sound judgement and discretion to manage competing demands and sensitive matters.
  • You like making things work better, from smoother meetings and clearer follow-up to more organised systems and processes.
  • You are collaborative and have an innate ability to manage competing demands
