Professional biography

Dr Lotti Tajouri is an Associate Professor at Bond University in the field of Molecular Genetics and member of Dubai Police Scientific Council.

Currently convening Immunology, Microbiology and Exploring Human Disease in Biomedical Sciences and Medicine, Dr Tajouri’ s research is associated with Autoimmune diseases, Public Health, and Global Biosecurity.

Research interests

I am currently one of Australia's leading researchers in the field of molecular genetics.

Having undertaken my Bachelor and Masters level degrees in France, I completed my PhD thesis in molecular genetics at Griffith University, Queensland, funded by a prestigious Lindsay Yeo Research Scholarship.

My research has examined gene profiling in a range of medical conditions, including breast cancer, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, leukaemia and migraines; resulting in numerous published articles and conference presentations.

Teaching expertise

Over the past decade, Dr Tajouri has taught undergraduate and postgraduate level subjects at Griffith University and Bond University.
