
Professional biography
Prior to commencing work at Bond, Joachim taught in the Faculty of Law at the Australian University in Canberra from 2000-2007, as well as James Cook University.
Joachim is a law graduate of the University of Queensland, where he graduated with First Class honours and a University Medal. He obtained his Doctorate from the ANU. His research and teaching interests range across the spectrum of private law: Torts, Equity and Trusts, Contracts, and Restitution.
He has published numerous articles in the areas of Torts, and Equity and Restitution related topics, as well as a book, Restitution: A New Perspective.
