Craig Smith

Professional biography

Craig is an ex-police officer of eighteen years experience having served on the Gold Coast in virtually all areas of police work. He is a Bond graduate who completed his LLB with Honours in 2004. Whilst undertaking his degree, he joined a local law firm and set up a stand-alone division within that firm called Blue Justice. Blue Justice was developed, implemented and managed by Craig with the sole purpose of representing Queensland Police Officers, in multiple areas of law. Craig was admitted as a Legal Practitioner in 2005 also returning to Bond to teach part time. During private practice, Craig became very interested in the area of Criminal Compensation and developed a speciality practice in that area. Craig has now joined the academic staff at Bond on a full time basis whilst also maintaining his private interests as a specialist Criminal Compensation consultant.
