Excellence in Entrepreneurship Education Program

About the Program

The future of work demands a new set of skills and capabilities which challenges the ability of traditional systems of education to prepare graduates for success. Secondary schools are searching for ways to complement existing operations in order to best serve the interests of students and parents. A focus on STEM has seen increased resourcing applied to improve incumbent subjects, while progressive schools have invested in enterprise skill development and entrepreneurship education. This new frontier of secondary education benefits from energy and endeavour, yet searches for established pedagogical approaches. The Bond University Excellence in Entrepreneurship Education Program aims to transfer contemporary knowledge of the development of entrepreneurial capability from the domain of tertiary education to secondary school providers. Separated into four major topics:

  1. Theoretical foundations
  2. The heuristics underpinning entrepreneurial behaviour
  3. Frameworks to implement theory into educational content
  4. Exemplars in curriculum design
