Whether you are new to Bond, you've just arrived from overseas (or interstate) or you are looking to make some new mates, by downloading the Vygo app you can instantly connect with a fellow student.
Finding your way around a new place can be really daunting so your fellow Bondies have answered the call and are standing by to connect with you.
Limitless Learning is Bond University's tutoring and social connectivity platform which is powered by the Vgyo app. Within Limitless Learning, is Bondies Connect a social connectivity program that will help you to generate conversations and friendship.nbsp;

Building a Better Bondy
What does it take to be a Bondy? Hear from Bond student, Jackson Miller, as he talks about the Building a Better Bondy iLearn community which features a range of wellbeing resources - including Being Well, Living Well.

Developed in collaboration with mental health experts, higher education professionals, and university students and staff, Being Well, Living Well takes a positive, preventative approach to help students maintain their mental, physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing.

MLC Opening Hours
The Multimedia Learning Centre (MLC) will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (including public holidays) over the semester break.

Library Services
The Main Library and the Law library will be closed from 4pm, Thursday 22 December 2022 and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday 3 January.
The online chat service, Ask a Librarian, will also be closed during this period but will be back online from 9am Tuesday 3 January.

BUSA - The Conversation magazine
The semester break is the perfect time to sit back and relax with a great magazine. BUSA have developed The Conversation for Bond students.
The Conversation magazine covers a whole range of issues through various perspectives and tones, both serious and lighthearted. The driving concept for the magazine is that it's written by students, for students, about student life– with a particular focus on wellbeing and mental health.

Your summer holiday can be a perfect time to catch up on some recreational reading. Here are some recommended books to bring along to the beach or enjoy as part of a lazy lie-in!

Summer Safety tips
With all of this sunshine, who doesn’t want to be outdoors. Those amazing beaches are calling but to properly enjoy a day at the beach, we have some basic safety recommendations to share.
- 6 Summer Safety Tips will provide you with a great overview of how to look after yourself and stay safe.
- Look after your skin!! Follow the famous adage of slip, slop, slap, seek and slide to protect yourself from the sun
- Healthdirect also shares a full list of advice on hot weather risks and staying cool
- The semester break is the perfect time to relax at the beach. Please ensure you read these beach safety tips and understand the rules before you head into the water.

Free Yoga & Meditation
The Gold Coast City Council host a range of free yoga and meditation classes. Some classes are even available virtually so you can participate no matter where you are.

Thursday 6 Jan 2022 - 3:00pm - 4:30pm (this event occurs every two weeks)
Join fellow Gold Coast students for a competitive but friendly, fun-filled afternoon of games, pizzas and soft drinks. They have a wide range of games available to play, including: Nintendo Switch Games (Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, FIFA, and Fortnite) and board games (Chess, Taboo, Monopoly, Jumanji, Werewolf, Scrabble, etc).
