Bleach* Festival is the Gold Coast’s signature arts and cultural festival. Established in 2012, Bleach* attracts over 70,000 people.
The two week whole-of-city, multi-arts event offers a feast of contemporary live music, cabaret, contemporary dance and live performance, circus, visual arts and exhibitions, outdoor movies, street parties, theatre and more.
Bond University has partnered with Bleach* since it began. The partnership provides unique and exciting work experience and other opportunities for Bond students. As one of the showcase venues in the Bleach* program, Bond University is proud to be part of the Gold Coast’s largest arts and cultural festival. Our Live at Bond concert and Corrigan Walk Indigenous Art Tour are featured events during Bleach* Festival each year.
Bleach* Festival is a platform for expression, curated to encourage community ownership and participation, provide legacy building capacity, and ultimately play a role amongst the world’s leading arts festivals.
Catherine O’Sullivan, Pro Vice Chancellor Pathways and Partnerships, is a director on the Bleached Arts Limited Board.
Bleach* Festival 2018 dates: 29 March – 15 April. Program announced early 2018.
