Terms and conditions for *Win Return Flights to Bond University Australia giveaway  

Prize: Up to $3,000 AUD to put towards return flights to the Gold Coast to visit Bond University in Australia.  

Prize Draw Terms and Conditions 

Eligibility:  

This draw is open to prospective students who registered for our giveaway and completed a virtual tour of Bond University campus by 5:00pm AEST on Wednesday 16th April. 

Only prospective students are eligible to enter. Parents, family members, international career advisors, teachers, school representatives, education agents or their employees, staff or students of Bond University are not eligible to participate in the draw.  

This promotion excludes permanent residents and citizens of Australia and New Zealand.  

If you are an onshore international resident of Australia or New Zealand, you will receive return flights to visit Bond University Gold Coast from the Australian or New Zealand city you currently reside in. 

This promotion excludes prospective students who has received a student visa to study in Australia and have committed to study with another education provider under that visa. 

Entry requirements: 

Prospective students who register for, and completes in full, a virtual campus tour with a Bond University representative immediately enters the draw to win. 

Entrants can enter the draw by registering for, and completing, a virtual campus tour from 7.00am AEST on Monday, 24 February 2025, until 5:00pm AEST on Wednesday, 16 April 2025. 

Only one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted, and joint submissions are not allowed.  

By submitting your personal information, you agree to receive emails from Bond University regarding updates, events and information that may interest a prospective student.  

Draw and notification: 

Following these Terms & Conditions, one winner will be selected from a random draw of entries received. The draw will take place at Bond University on Thursday 24th April 2025 at approximately 11.00am AEST. The winner will be notified by email on or before 5pm Thursday 24th April 2025. If a winner does not respond to Bond University within seven (7) days of being notified - in that case, the winner's prize will be forfeited, and Bond University will be entitled to select another winner per the process described above. The winner must respond to the notification of their win within seven (7) days; if they do not respond within this period, they will forfeit their prize. If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms & Conditions, the winner's prize will be forfeited, and Bond University will be entitled to select another winner.  

By entering this competition, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by Bond University for the purposes of the administration of this competition and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.  

Each entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions by entering the draw.  

Prize details: 

There is one prize to win – up to $3,000 AUD credit towards a trip to the Gold Coast for one (1) person.  

The winner will receive a credit to the value of up to $3,000 to be used on return economy flights from their city of residence to either Gold Coast or Brisbane airports in Australia. The total value of the flights can be up to $3000. The winner will be required to visit Bond University for a VIP campus tour experience. The flights will be booked by Bond University and through Bond University’s preferred travel booking company. If the winner’s preferred flight costs exceed the value of the prize amount ($3000), the winner will be required to cover the additional cost. 

If the winner is under the age of 18, it is required that they are accompanied by a parent or guardian, who will travel at their own cost. 

The prize does not include return airport transfers, accommodation or spending money. 

It is the responsibility of the prize winner to organise adequate travel and medical insurance for the duration of the trip and have a valid passport/visa document to travel to Australia if they reside overseas.  

The prize must be claimed by 31 December, 2025. 

Bond University accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with participation in this prize that has not been specifically listed above.  

The prize is non-exchangeable and non-redeemable for cash or other prizes.  

Bond University retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value if the original prize offered is not available.  

Liability and Force Majeure: 

Bond University accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you from entering the Prize Draw or accepting the prize.  

Bond University shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to visa refusal, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, public health directives from Government or a Regulator, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
