Description
In this subject, you will work in the Bond University Health and Wellness Clinic under the supervision of a registered psychologist. You are required to attend one week's orientation during 0-Week of the semester, then be available for three days per week in the clinic from weeks 1 to 14, completing at least 300 hours of professional experience. Off-campus clinical placement may also be required.

Learning outcomes
- Apply professional practice policies, ethical standards and statutory obligations in a clinical setting.
- Appraise own clinical practice through supervision to identify areas for professional development, demonstrating integration of learning, reflective practice, and capacity for reflexivity.
- Communicate clinical information orally to clients and colleagues using professional interpersonal and interview skills.
- Produce clinical documentation, including case notes and reports, that meets professional and legal record-keeping standards.
- Conduct psychological assessments with clinic clients to identify presenting concerns, risk, functional impairment, and suitable recommendations.
- Formulate case conceptualisations that integrate assessment findings with client history and context.
- Implement evidence-based psychological interventions with clinic clients, monitoring client progress and intervention outcomes.
- Apply responsive and safe approaches in clinical work with diverse cultural, linguistic, religious, and social backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Collaborate with other professionals in the management of client care.
