Description
This subject provides the opportunity for students to undertake advanced individual research project over two semesters, under supervision. Students apply their developed research, analytical and academic writing skills, acquired earlier in the program, to independently research a specific topic, case studies or teaching practices. The individual research project, theoretical, experiential or empirical, must be submitted during the second semester of enrolment, in time for an examination process to take place. As a guide, the written dissertation is approximately 20,000-25,000 words long and is an articulation of an organised and analytic piece of work as part of this subject and LING72-211.
