Description
Japanese in Business and Media is designed for students who have completed Japanese Language and Culture or equivalent subjects. The aim of this subject is to further develop your awareness and understanding of Japanese speaking societies and cultures, focusing on the Japanese business and media. Using a content and language integrated approach, the subject enhances students’ pre-intermediate communicative competence in the Japanese language.

Learning outcomes
1. Identify, analyse, evaluate and communicate with the pre-intermediate proficiency level of the Japanese language and transmit broad theoretical knowledge about its use in the Japanese Business and Media. 2. Independently and in teams, generate and transmit solutions to unpredictable and sometimes complex problems related to the use of the Japanese language in Business and Media. 3. Apply the knowledge and understanding of the Japanese language in Business and Media to professional work and/or further learning, demonstrating well-developed judgement and responsibility.
