GLBE11-104: Global Megatrends and the Future

Description

This subject explores world megatrends to equip students with the knowledge and skills preparing them for future global transformations. The science of megatrends provides a unique insight into how the world and its systems are developing. Studying megatrends examines how the world is changing and identifies the expertise needed to address dynamic challenges such as climate change, digital transformations and changing demographics. It also examines the social implications of these changes in communities and cultures. Understanding megatrends will provide students with an insight into where we are heading as a global community and how to best position themselves for their careers. Designed to enhance International Relations and Global Studies studentsโ€™ understanding of global megatrends, this subject can also be taken as an elective to complement any degree undertaken at Bond University.
