Available to academically successful students who have completed the required pre-requisites together with major studies in a professional area. Internships provide students with an introduction to the realities of work in a professional field. Internships must be approved by the coordinator of the discipline.

Learning outcomes

  1. The main aim of the subject is for students to complete a major supervised project at an agreed workplace. On completion of this subject, student should possess a generalised understanding of some key criminological concepts and developments as they pertain to the operations of the internship host, and demonstrate the ability to undertake a criminological project which is applicable to their internship agency.
