Description

In this highly-practical, workshop-based subject, you will gain in-depth knowledge of multi-camera studio production through the filming of a situation-comedy. You will also work together as a large production team to produce a live sports broadcast, using the latest professional workflows and Outside Broadcast (OB) technology.

Learning outcomes

  1. Work collaboratively in creative teams, demonstrating advanced problem solving, communication and negotiation skills necessary to produce multi-camera, live, as-live and Outside Broadcast productions.
  2. Effectively perform a number of crew roles and responsibilities to a high level, using industry expected protocols and processes to produce multi-camera, live, as-live, and Outside Broadcast productions.
  3. Operate specialised technology and troubleshoot the range of technical issues that arise during multi-camera studio and live Outside Broadcasts.
  4. Critically reflect upon and analyse their production roles, and the creative, technical and contextual aspects of their productions.
