Description
The subject begins with a series of lectures on global business issues, and completes with a number of visits to companies in the target country to enable students to experience how global business issues are managed within the target context. The Study Tour is designed to allow students to reflect upon and contrast theories and frameworks from their program subjects with experiential learning in the target country/company visits.

- Assess the challenges and opportunities of working in the global business environment.
- Integrate executive experience and advanced theoretical knowledge to solve complex business problems relating to operating in an international business environment.
- Critically reflect on one’s experience in a foreign business environment to evaluate previously held assumptions and beliefs.
- Produce a clear and concise document outlining the viability of a domestic business venture into a foreign market.
- Present a comprehensive account of business interactions in a foreign market.

Assumed knowledge is the minimum level of knowledge of a subject area that students are assumed to have acquired through previous study. It is the responsibility of students to ensure they meet the assumed knowledge expectations of the subject.
