Bond University set to go public for Open Day

Bond University will welcome thousands of prospective students, their families, friends and the wider Gold Coast community to campus for its annual Open Day on this Sunday, August 22, 10am – 3pm.

Students considering their tertiary options will come from all over Australia to gain an insight into Bond’s unique educational environment, undergraduate and postgraduate program offerings and vibrant campus life.

Visitors will have the opportunity to talk one-on-one with current students, graduates, staff, academics and industry professionals to plan their ideal career path and discover how Bond can help bring their ambition to life.

A jam-packed program is on offer, including campus tours, interactive and informative Faculty presentations, all-day live entertainment and networking in the Life at Bond lounge.

Students can also test their skills at individual Faculty competitions for a chance to win great prizes including a Nintendo Wii and Apple iPad.

With so many activities and presentations to choose from, students are encouraged to visit the University’s website bond.edu.au to view the full day’s program and plan their day in advance.

Bond University Vice-Chancellor Professor Robert Stable encouraged anyone considering future tertiary study to attend.

“Come along to meet our students and staff and get a true understanding of the unparalleled student experience that Bond University offers,” said Professor Stable.

“There really is no better way [than attending Open Day] to get a feel for the unique, personalised education we provide and experience the beautiful campus, world class facilities and culture that makes the Bond community so special.

"Choosing a university is both an academic and a lifestyle decision; and one which should not be taken lightly. I would encourage anyone who is considering studying at university to attend our Open Day on Sunday, August 22 to ensure they are making an informed decision on their future,” Professor Stable said.
