Bond University and The Entrepreneurs Organisation

Building The Forever Business | 4 Plus 1 Program

August 22 – 26 August 2021

In late August, Bond University will play host to a group of entrepreneurs from The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) for an immersive learning experience where EO members skillsets and mindsets will be expanded.

The program is designed to enhance the EO members journey to learn and grow while developing an entrepreneurial strategy that supports their organisation now and forever. The theory-driven evidence-based frameworks will allow for the emphasis to be placed on concepts that are easily digestible and applicable, with real-life case studies that create an understanding of the entrepreneurial life-cycle.

The Entrepreneurs’ Organization is a global network that was established more than 30 years ago, with over 15,000 members in over 61 countries. EO Members must be founder, co-founder, owner or controlling shareholder of a company, serving in one of these roles for a company grossing a minimum of US$1 million annually.

The flagship program will trigger a long-standing relationship between Bond University Business School and The Entrepreneurs’ Organization.  Both institutions will continue to be globally recognised for excellence and for the difference their stakeholders make to society.

The unique delivery 4 + 1 will allow for content-driven theory with real-life case studies over 4 days, with the 5th-day bringing concepts to life, where the EO member will bring along a +1 to share their plan and develop the concepts learnt to execute their strategy for their forever business.

Dr Justin Craig, a Full Professor of Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise will be the lead presenter of the program.  Along with Professor Craig’s teachings, the Entrepreneurs’ Organization will co-deliver this executive education program with key EO members; Nick Bloor and Carlo G Santoro.

Nick Bloor is the Founder and CEO of IVM Group, Nick’s passion for horticulture led him to establish Technigro, which he has managed for 20 years to become Australia’s most awarded vegetation management contractor.

Carlo Santoro, is a Technology Consultant, Online Business Growth Expert and founder of RetailCare, Australia’s largest online IT supplier for small to medium retailers, which offers Point-of-Sales systems to empower business growth.

The Entrepreneurs’ Organization also partners with London Business School, Wharton, Harvard and MIT each delivering programs that allow EO members to strive to new levels of leadership in business and beyond. Partnering with EO to co-deliver Building The Forever Business will give EO members fresh ideas and a new toolkit of resources for addressing challenges their company may face to evolve to the next level.

In line with Bond’s research pillar, Bond also have the opportunity to conduct multi-disciplinary research related to entrepreneurial behaviour. The members meet the criteria of ‘entrepreneur’ as they are practising entrepreneurs – typically serial entrepreneurs, this is attractive for our researchers and will allow Bond to provide a unique perspective.
