High School diplomats shine at 2018 Model UN Conference

The Gold Coast’s Emmanuel College has taken out the top award for ‘Best School’ at the recent 2018 Bond University High School Model UN (BUHMUN) Conference. Sixty-two Year 10, 11 and 12 students from across Australia were given a taste of what life is like as an international diplomat at the two-day conference, which simulates a real-life UN proceeding.

Open-plan offices have taken off because of a desire to increase interaction and collaboration among workers. But an innovative new study has found that employees in open-plan offices spend 73% less time in face-to-face interactions. Email and messaging use shot up by over 67%.
