Olympic swimmers take the plunge at Bond

Australia’s fastest swimmers have taken part in a surprise swim meet at Bond University to prepare them for the uncertainty of the Tokyo Olympics. The Dolphins squad were told only on the morning of the event that they would be competing in the relay blitz, which was the brainchild of head coach Rohan Taylor.

Bond University reached a milestone of 30,000 graduates on February 5, three decades after the first student enrolled. Gold Coaster Jake Harrison took his place in Bond history when he crossed the stage with a Bachelor of Actuarial Science during a graduation ceremony for the Bond Business School.

A talented rugby league player who aspires to represent Australia and mentor Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children has secured an Indigenous scholarship at Bond University. Generous support from the Envato Foundation will allow Abelee Stanley, 18, to study a Diploma of Arts before progressing to a Bachelor of Social Science.
