About the Position

An exciting opportunity has become available for two People and Culture Advisors to join the team. Reporting to the Senior / People and Culture Business Partner, these roles will support with the delivery of the University's strategic HR objectives. They will provide advice on IR/ER matters, support recruitment, performance management, professional development reviews processes, and undertake a range of HR administrative duties. These roles will work closely with managers and staff to ensure that HR practices are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, and will foster a positive workplace culture and drive continuous improvement in HR processes.

About the person

The successful candidates will have:

  • A Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field, along with at least 3 years relevant experience, preferably within the higher education sector
  • Well developed knowledge of employment laws, regulations and the developed ability to interpret policy and provide sound HR advice.
  • The ability to support the implementation of HR strategies that support organisational objectives.
  • Developed analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret HR data and metrics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to operate HRIS and Payroll systems.

Salary details

The salary for the position commences at $80,787.14 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
