About the position
The Bond University Criminology and Criminal Justice program within the Faculty of Society and Design has established itself as a leader in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research. We offer a number of undergraduate and postgraduate study options, as well as higher degree research in the relevant discipline.
We are currently seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Criminology and Criminal Justice programs. This position will contribute to the Faculty of Society and Designโs teaching and research profile, university service, and provide administrative support within the Faculty. The successful candidate will be teaching into the Criminology and Criminal Justice undergraduate and postgraduate programs and supervise higher degree research students.
About the person
The successful candidate must be student focused and possess a strong teaching record along with evidence of experience in contemporary teaching methods such as active learning, small group learning, web-based learning and technology enhanced learning.
Possession of a PhD in Criminology and Criminal Justice and an active record of research within this discipline is necessary. The successful candidate will contribute to the multi-discipline environment on offer in the Faculty of Society and Design.
Both full-time and part-time applications are encouraged.

Assistant Professor A remuneration commences at $144,783 (full time equivalent) per annum plus 10.5% superannuation.
Assistant Professor B remuneration commences at $122,074 (full time equivalent) per annum plus 10.5% superannuation.
