About the Position
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of Facilities Officers and on-site contractors to ensure maintenance activities are delivered effectively.
This role reports to the Operations Manager.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise in-house facilities management staff, contracted staff and external contractors to ensure timely and quality maintenance services.
- Allocate tasks and monitor performance based on departmental priorities and objectives.
- Lead and motivate the team to maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and organisational policies in all maintenance activities.
About the person
The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage maintenance operations effectively. To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Relevant qualifications or extensive experience in building, maintenance, or facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, WH&S, and sustainability best practices.
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills to manage teams and liaise effectively.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work autonomously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good problem-solving and organisational skills, with clear written and verbal communication.
- Competency in Microsoft Office and ability to prepare accurate reports.
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
Salary details
The salary for the position commences at $96,222.23 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
