About the Position

We’re excited to offer a newly-created opportunity for a Manager, Clinical Training within the Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine’s Technical Services & Facilities Team. With a major capital project underway and a brand-new, purpose-built facility on the horizon, you’ll be at the forefront of operationalising these cutting-edge spaces and ensuring they deliver world-class learning experiences. Leading a dynamic technical team, you’ll champion continuous improvement, empower staff through training and development, and set the standard for excellence across our campuses.

 

Reporting to the Manager, Technical Services and Facilities, this full-time role sits within the Educational Services and Partnerships Portfolio and offers the opportunity to influence the next generation of health professionals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspire and lead a high‑performing technical team.

  • Enhance clinical skills and simulation facilities to support exceptional teaching.

  • Maintain strong safety and compliance standards across all training spaces.

  • Partner with academics to elevate practical teaching and student experience,

Key attributes include:

  • A relevant qualification in health sciences, biomedical science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A nursing qualification will be highly regarded.

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a high‑performing team.

  • A strategic, adaptive approach to problem-solving in complex environments.

  • Influential communicator with the ability to lead stakeholders and drive collaboration.

 

Salary details

The salary for the position commences at $98,946.69 per annum (HEW 7 equivalent), plus 12% superannuation.
