Description
Professional Portfolio (Workshop Program) is a 20-week, 45 credit point subject available to Masters (Professional) students in the Faculty of Society & Design. This subject provides students the opportunity in an authentic learning environment to develop their professional skills for the real world.
The subject encourages students to combine self-analysis and reflective learning skills with professional methodologies to expand their analytic and strategic thinking capabilities. It also provides practical experience for students to appreciate the requirements of industrial practice and develop their communication skills to improve their ‘work readiness’.
Students will complete 20-week Workshop Program on campus that offers students a mix of classroom learning and practical experiences incorporating skills sessions, industry guest involvement, site inspections, projects and practical assessment pieces replicating workplace tasks.

Learning outcomes
1. Identify appropriate work opportunities and effectively promote themselves as a desirable potential employee;

- Students must have successfully completed 120cps masters subjects. - Students from the Master of Project Management (Professional) must obtain approval from the Project Management Discipline Lead to take this subject as an option. This subject is not available as a general elective. To be eligible for enrolment, the subject must be specified in the students’ program structure. Anti-requisites: ? |
