Description
Healthcare is one of the most innovative and fast-moving industries in the world. The analysis of data and presentation of information are of critical importance to advances in practice and research. While medical breakthroughs highlight positive aspects of our future, there are also numerous threats that accompany technological advancements. Innovations in healthcare systems, driven by changing societal expectations and increasing global populations, have implications for the collection, analysis, and management of personal and societal data. Students will consider a series of future health challenges, learn techniques to analyse such problems, and then conduct an applied project to propose a methodology for assessing and addressing an emerging issue in health sciences.
