Research interests

Laboratory studies to enhance our knowledge of the lower urinary tract, with the aim of developing new treatments, or enhancing current treatments of the following conditions:

  • Overactive bladder
  • Cancers of the lower urinary tract
  • Stress incontinence
  • Ureteral stones
  • Benign prostatic hyperplasia
  • Erectile dysfunction

Teaching expertise

Undergraduate Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Biomedical, Neuroscience, Nursing, Physiology & Pharmacology students at a number of Universities. Supervised 12 PhD students, 3 MSc students and 4 research registrars to (MD), supervised >30 Honours projects
