Professional biography
Justin is the Director of Buro Two, a design-focused studio based in Northern NSW on the lands of the Moorung Moobar people of the Bundjalung Nation. The studio has been working within the environments of Northern NSW and South East Queensland for almost 25 years. We balance practice with teaching as it allows us to align research with practice-based outcomes. We enjoy learning from, and working with our subtropic environments, people and places. Justin is a graduate of the University of Canberra and the University of Queensland and has a particular interest in learning from First Nations knowledge having completed his undergraduate thesis under the guidance of Paul Memmott. Justin teaches Design Studio and Designing for sustainable futures and began tutoring at Bond in the inaugural year of the Architecture program (2011).
