Dr Ben Hu

Professional biography

Ben Hu obtained his PhD from the Australian national University Australia in 2014. He is an associated member of CPA Australia. His first and continuing research interest has been in the field of earnings management, accounting fraud, regulations, corporate governance, and related party transactions. Examples of his current research include the impact of regulations on disclosure versus concealment of related party transactions in China. He is also interested in the role of accounting information in corporate corruption. He is now studying the impact of anti-corruption campaign on accounting disclosures. Before joining Bond University, he worked as a lecturer in Management Accounting at the Australian national University. Currently, he is teaching cost management systems and Management Accounting and Strategy at Bond Business School.
