The Medical Clinic is a facility for currently enrolled students and staff members of Bond University.  The Medical Clinic is located within Wellbeing Services – Level 1, Student Court, Building 9  (See location 9 on the Campus Map).

Drink Spiking

Drink spiking is when alcohol or another substance is added to someone's drink without them knowing.

Symptoms of drink spiking:

  • Feeling sick or sleepy
  • Feeling dizzy or faint
  • Feeling drunk when you only had a small amount of alcohol
  • Memory loss
  • Difficulty walking, controlling body or talking

Drink spiking is an offense and should be reported to the police.

COVID-19 Updates

  • Bond Medical clinic is currently only offering the Moderna Bivalent Spikevax COVID-19 vaccination.

    ATAGI recommends a 2023 COVID-19 vaccine booster dose if their last COVID-19 vaccine dose or confirmed infection was 6 months ago or longer, and regardless of the number of prior doses.

    • All adults aged 65 years and over
    • Adults aged 18-64 years who have medical comorbidities that increase their risk of severe COVID-19, or disability with significant or complex health needs.

    ATAGI advises the following groups should consider a 2023 booster dose if their last COVID-19 vaccine dose or confirmed infection was 6 months ago or longer, and regardless of the number of prior doses received, 

    • All Adults aged 18-64 years without risk factors for severe COVID-19

  • Bond Medical Clinic is now offering the option for Rapid Antigen COVID-19 swabs on campus. These swabs are self-administered. This test can be used to screen yourself if you are presenting with COVID-19 symptoms such as: runny nose, cough, sore throat, fatigue etc.

    Due to the nature of the test, we are not accepting walk-ins.

    1. All appointments must be booked via phone ahead of time.
    2. When attending the clinic for testing, please call clinic reception from outside to notify of your arrival.
    3. The Nurse will then attend you outside to decrease risk of transmittable illness to staff and other patients.
