Returning on Friday, May 9, this immersive event gives you the opportunity to explore the field of criminology and criminal justice, uncovering how society responds to crime and the complexities of criminal behaviour.

Meet leading criminology academics, engage in interactive sessions, and discover how a criminology degree can lead to careers in criminal profiling, law enforcement, social work, policy reform, and more. Gain valuable insights into the real-world applications of criminology and how it shapes our justice system.

There’s no better way to explore your passion than by experiencing it firsthand. This free event is open to Year 10, 11, and 12 students, plus one parent per student.

What will the Experience Day involve?

At the 2025 Criminology Experience Day, you will step into the world of crime, justice, and criminal behavior through engaging, hands-on sessions led by expert academics who actively work in the industry. Explore how crime is investigated, how media shapes our perception of criminal activity, and the role criminology plays in understanding human behavior and the justice system.

You'll also gain valuable insights into the diverse career opportunities in criminology, from law enforcement and criminal profiling to policy reform and social justice. Plus, you’ll hear from current Bond students about their experiences, take an optional campus tour, and have the chance to ask questions about studying criminology at Bond.

If you’re interested in a career in justice or understanding the sociological and psychological characteristics of offenders and victims, then Bond’s Bachelor of Criminal Justice and Criminology is the degree for you. This program equips you with multidisciplinary knowledge and skills from foundational criminology and law subjects while enabling you to specialise further in criminology or advanced studies in psychology or law. Subjects include justice procedures, cybercrime, criminal law, explaining crime, miscarriages of justice, prevention and public safety, child protection and juvenile justice.
