Speaker Biography
Dr Clare JM Burns, MBA, PhD, FHEA
Dr Clare is a corporate sustainability/business ethics researcher focused on Australian finance culture. For the past eight years, Clare has been teaching undergraduate, postgraduate, and Master of Business Administration students in business management. Before re-entering academia, Clare worked for 18 years in corporate roles in Australia and overseas. During this time, she worked at Telstra in Investor Relations, wrote speeches and strategic plans for ministers and premiers, and lived in an African war zone. Outside of work, Clare is a volunteer and non-executive director of Rosies Friends on the Street.
