In this lecture, Professor Moustafa will discuss findings from his research on the use of computational models to understand the complexity of several neurological disorders, including Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease. Professor Moustafa will also discuss his recent studies on the use of ChatGPT for the diagnosis of psychiatric and neurological disorders.

Biography:

Ahmed Moustafa Photo

Professor Ahmed Moustafa is a professor of Psychology and Computational Modelling.  He conducts research on computational and neuropsychological studies of Parkinson's disease, PTSD, depression, and Alzheimer's disease. he has published over 240 papers in high-ranking journals including Science, PNAS, Journal of Neuroscience, Brain, Neuroscience and Biobehavioural Reviews, Nature (Parkinson's disease), among others.
