Casual room bookings allow students and staff to book available teaching spaces on campus for non-teaching activities such as group study or meetings.
All casual room bookings are made using Reserve, Bond University’s online room booking system.
Before you book
Please read the information below before making a booking. These guidelines help ensure fair access and appropriate use of teaching spaces across campus.
Who can book
- Current Bond University students and staff may make casual room bookings.
- The person making the booking is considered the organiser and is responsible for the booking.
- Bookings must not be made on behalf of another student or staff member.
What spaces can be booked
- Casual room bookings apply to general teaching spaces only.
- Meeting rooms, boardrooms, and specialist spaces may require separate approval or alternative booking processes.
- If you need a space that is not available through Reserve, contact the relevant area listed at the bottom of this page.
How to make a casual room booking
1) Sign in to the Casual Room Booking system (Reserve) using your Bond SSO and select Student or Staff access.

2) Choose the booking type that best suits your needs.
3) Search for an available room using filters such as:
- Date and time
- Location or building
- Seating capacity
- Room type or attributes
4) Select an available time and room.
5) Enter booking details (activity type, title, number of participants).
6) Submit your booking.
